Toledo, OR November 9, 2019 – In round one of the OSAA 2A Football State Championships the Toledo Boomers hosted the Lost River Raiders. The Boomers dominated the first half and as it came to a close, were up 35-6.
The Raiders were able to score again in the second half but the strength of Toledo was too much as the Boomers picked up the 62-32 win.
Lost River ended the season 6-4 overall and 3-1 in league play.
Toledo now travels to Monroe to face the Dragons in the 2A semifinal game. Monroe advanced by defeating Colton 57-22.
The last time these teams met, the Boomers squeaked out a 52-49 win. This game was played on Toledo’s home turf. This is set up to be one of the best games of the year.
